The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Senior Business Development & Sales Manager with 10+ years of proven success in the technology sector. This is a critical role that requires a strategic thinker who can effectively position Votary Tech's comprehensive capabilities across our entire portfolio. You will be responsible for driving significant revenue growth and expanding our market presence across the IoT, Smart Devices, Automotive, and Compute domains.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Sales Execution: Develop and implement a unified sales strategy that targets key accounts and maximizes cross-vertical selling opportunities across all four technology domains.
- Pipeline Generation: Proactively identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities within target industries relevant to our verticals.
- Vertical Expertise: While specializing in one or more of our key areas (IoT, Smart Devices, Automotive, or Compute), you must possess the technical acumen to understand and articulate Votary Tech's value proposition across the entire portfolio.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting executive relationships with prospective and existing clients, acting as a trusted advisor on their complex technology challenges.
- Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of market trends, competitive landscapes, and regulatory changes within the IoT, Smart Devices, Automotive, and Compute sectors to inform strategic decisions.
- Proposal Development: Lead the creation of compelling and customized proposals, presentations, and statements of work (SOWs) that align Votary Tech's solutions with client business objectives.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive experience in Business Development, Sales, or Account Management within the technology services or solutions industry.
- Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding multi-million dollar sales targets.
- Direct experience selling solutions in at least one, and preferably multiple, of the following areas:
- IoT: Connected devices, industrial IoT, platform services.
- Smart Devices: Consumer electronics, mobile, embedded systems.
- Automotive: Connected vehicles, in-vehicle infotainment (IVI), ADAS, software development for auto.
- Compute: Cloud services, enterprise IT, software development, AI/ML infrastructure.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; an advanced degree is a plus.
