Inviting applications for the role of Sr, Manager, R2R
In this role, we are looking for a candidate with proven experience in leading and overseeing intercompany accounting, reconciliations and GL operations across multiple legal entities and regions. People management experience is a must. In this role, you will be expected to work on strict deadlines, in a fairly high-pressure business environment while being a standout colleague.
Prior Record to Report Operations experience along with transformation / projects experience / Robotic AI implementation exposure will be preferred
Responsibilities
.Lead endtoend intercompany accounting activities including cost recharges, allocations, royalties, management fees, accruals, settlements, and eliminations
.Lead and manage BS reconciliations process including open items governance
.Review and approve intercompany, revenue, prepaid and accruals balance sheet reconciliations
.Act as the primary escalation point for intercompany imbalances and complex accounting issues including Balance Sheet reconciliations
.Monitor aged balances and drive rootcause resolution
.Approves intercompany reconciliations and adjustments within defined authority
.Ensure consistent application of accounting policies
.Promote a strong control and accountability culture
.Support performance management, knowledge development, and crosstraining
.Provide daytoday leadership, coaching, and workload prioritization for the team
.Partner with AP, AR, General Ledger, Tax, Treasury, and regional finance teams
.Communicate intercompany status, risks, and issues clearly and proactively
.Support crossfunctional initiatives impacting intercompany, reconciliations and month end processes
.Support system changes, testing, and process migrations
.Drive standardization, automation, and reduction of manual journal activity
.Own and maintain SOPs and governance documentation
.Drive a high-performance culture through KPIs, quality metrics, and productivity improvements
.Identify and implement process improvements, automation to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Champion digital transformation initiatives in R2R and strengthen internal controls
Minimum Qualifications
.Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related discipline CA / CPA / ACCA / CMA preferred
.12 - 15 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a multinational corporation or shared services centre
.Proven track record in managing large teams and client relationships in a global setup
.Exposure to ERP systems (SAP / S/4HANA strongly preferred) and automation tools (BlackLine, RPA platforms)
