Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic individual to enhance our stress management capabilities in the credit risk sector, particularly within Risk. The successful candidate will collaborate with a global team of Credit Officers, Scenario Design, Technology, Data Strategy, and Finance Teams to interpret stress test results and address stakeholder inquiries.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy
- Lead the execution of the stress testing exercise using the designated scenario for the CIB portfolio.
- Validate results and analyze key drivers to identify risk concentrations and cross-risk correlations.
- Provide clear analyses of stress impacts, attributing them to specific businesses, portfolios, or legal entities.
Business
- Present management stress test outputs succinctly to various committees and risk forums.
- Prepare presentations and written analyses that clearly convey risk analysis and conclusions to senior audiences. Draft or provide analysis for risk committee papers or stakeholders as needed.
- Address queries from stakeholders regarding stress scenario results and outputs.
Processes
- Maintain and enhance existing analysis and dashboards, updating views as new data becomes available.
- Establish automated processes and codes to analyze and decompose stress test results, identifying key insights, concentrations, and tail risks.
People & Talent
- Manage relationships with stakeholders through an established engagement model, adopting a Think Client approach.
- Continuously seek process improvements and innovations with the goal of simplification while maintaining value.
- Foster a collaborative team environment with a Human element to build the function for the long term.
Risk Management
- The ability to interpret the Group CIB Credit Information, identify key drivers and key risk areas based on this information and put in place appropriate controls and measures including analysing and interpreting stressed financial statements, credit grades, RWAs and ECLs.
- Demonstrate a clear understanding and ability to manage data quality and other data-related risks.
Governance
- Ensure compliance with the Group's policies and procedures, and the regulatory framework.
- Maintain appropriate documentation and controls for modelling, reporting, and analytics

Other Responsibilities
- Support the project activities as may be required from time to time for e.g. UAT / UVT for Model Implementation or Functionality enhancement for the Credit Risk Stress Testing platform.
- Support in designing the data quality rules to ensure that the input and output used for stress testing is accurate and trusted.
Skills And Experience
- SAS, Python, R and Excel skills
- RWA/ECL Knowledge

- Experience of producing portfolio insights for management consumption
- Experience of working under pressure to produce high quality reporting in a highly controlled environment
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as mathematics, statistics, economics, finance, computer science, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 7 years experience in reporting, analysis, and stress testing within the CIB Credit Risk domain.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and banking regulations, particularly related to Credit RWA and IFRS9 ECL.
- Proficiency in Python coding for automation and data analysis; experience with Azure DevOps and agile practices is highly advantageous.
- Strong analytical mindset with excellent logical reasoning and problem-solving skills, including a solid understanding of advanced mathematical concepts.
- Experience in Credit Risk, Data Analytics, or Stress Testing change projects is highly beneficial.
- Proven ability to work with multiple stakeholders from both technical and non-technical backgrounds.
- Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality output under pressure in a highly controlled environment.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to diverse audiences effectively.
