Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and ensure compliance with accounting policies across the Region.
- Provide F&A support to other entities in the Region.
- Coordination with auditors for ensuring that all requirements of statutory audit, tax audit and group audit are addressed, and audits completed within the agreed timelines across the Region.
- Coordination with internal auditors for ensuring that all requirements of internal audit are addressed, audits completed within the agreed timelines across the FF BU and resolution of all internal audit observations.
- Coordination with Global Service Centre (GSC) for centralised arrangement of high-quality audit deliverables, in proper format and matching with books of accounts, for all entities across the Region ensuring timely submission of the same to the audit teams.
- Co-ordinate for the system developments in ERP related to Finance.
- Ensure that the finance and accounting SOPs are followed for FF BU without exception.
- Comply and co-ordinate for all the requirements of the BU relating to Finance and Accounts for the Region.
- Ensure that all reporting requirements to Head Office relating to Finance are sent timely
- Ensure that all significant components of the Balance Sheet and the Statement of Profit and Loss are monthly reviewed
- Establish and maintain appropriate internal financial control including but not limited to revenue recognition, cost of services rendered, cash and bank balances, and assets.
- Maintaining records of Related Party Transactions across the Region and ensuring proper monthly reconciliation of intercompany transactions and balances.
QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES
- Chartered Accountant with 6 to 8 years experience.
- Experience of having worked in Oracle ERP would be preferred.
- Good Communication skills in English language, both oral and written
