Key Responsibilities and Tasks:
Daily Work Management
- Plan and allocate QA manpower as per production requirements.
- Monitor End-of-Line quality gate fallout and conduct rejection review meetings.
- Track and resolve next customer and field complaints through ICA/PCA.
- Prepare MIS reports and participate in escalation meetings for issue resolution.
- Monitor rejection cost, Non-DIFTR targets, and field complaints (IPTV/Dealer PDI).
Build-In Quality Improvement
- Monitor in-process quality and effectiveness of quality gates.
- Implement standardized inspection processes, NTWG, and Zero Defect Stations (ZDS).
- Identify and implement poka-yoke solutions for failure prevention.
- Ensure calibration of gauges and equipment.
- Participate in process validation activities (1/5/25 trials, 4M changes, ECNs).
- Drive quality issue resolution using ICA/PCA and PSF methodologies.
Quality Management System (QMS) Implementation
- Conduct layered audits and ensure closure of non-conformities.
- Implement processes aligned with IATF 16949 standards.
- Monitor CTQ and CTE parameters and process capability indices (Cp/Cpk).
- Drive continuous improvement through corrective and preventive actions.
New Product Development Support
- Participate in new product introduction activities such as PFMEA, process planning, and production readiness.
- Support 3P events, process walkthroughs, and station readiness activities.
- Identify design issues and raise DCRs for modifications.
- Analyze low kilometer field issues and ensure preventive actions.
People Development and Team Management
- Manage manpower, monitor absenteeism, and ensure optimal work distribution.
- Identify training needs and ensure completion as per plan.
- Drive team engagement through Kaizen and Team Quality Circle (TQC) activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety and organizational standards.
