- Power BI Architecture & Strategy
- Define and own the enterprise Power BI strategy and architecture.
- Design scalable and secure reporting frameworks aligned with global data standards.
- Establish governance standards for datasets, workspaces, Row-Level Security (RLS), and performance optimization.
- S/4HANA & Enterprise Reporting
- Lead reporting design aligned with SAP S/4HANA data structures across FICO, SD, MM, PP, and QM modules.
- Develop executive dashboards and operational reports supporting financial reporting, sales analytics, supply chain KPIs, and manufacturing performance metrics.
- Data Lake & Data Engineering Collaboration
- Work closely with data engineering teams on Enterprise Data Lake architecture and data ingestion pipelines.
- Ensure clean semantic models and optimized data marts for reporting.
- Define best practices for data modeling (star schema, snowflake schema).
- ETL & Integration Platform Experience
- Collaborate on data pipelines using ETL tools and integration platforms such as Boomi and SAP CPI (Integration Suite).
- Ensure accurate and timely data flow from SAP and non-SAP systems into reporting layers.
- Advanced Analytics & Performance Optimization
- Develop advanced Power BI features including DAX calculations, complex KPIs, drill-through reports, and interactive dashboards.
- Optimize performance for large datasets in a global reporting environment.
- Governance, Compliance & Data Security
- Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical industry data governance standards.
- Implement role-based access control and secure reporting models.
- Support audit and validation activities where reporting data supports regulated processes.
- Stakeholder & Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor BI developers and data analysts.
- Work closely with business stakeholders across US, India, and Ireland.
- Act as the primary point of contact for enterprise reporting initiatives.
Qualifications
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 12–15 years of experience in Business Intelligence and Analytics roles.
- Proven experience working as a Power BI Lead in enterprise environments.
- Strong expertise in Power BI architecture, data modeling, DAX, and performance tuning.
- Strong understanding of Data Lake architecture, data engineering concepts, ETL tools, and integration frameworks.
- Experience with integration platforms such as Boomi and SAP CPI.
- Experience supporting reporting for SAP S/4HANA environments preferred.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
- Experience in multi-country global programs.
- Exposure to advanced analytics and predictive reporting models.
- Understanding of master data governance (MDM) concepts.
