The Head – Project Control – Site is responsible for overseeing all project control functions including planning & scheduling, budgeting, cost tracking, resource management, progress monitoring, and reporting. This role acts as the central point for aligning project performance with business goals at the site level and provides critical inputs for decision-making through timely, accurate data and analysis.
Key Responsibilities/ Accountabilities
- Lead the preparation of detailed project schedules (Level 2/3) in coordination with the planning and execution teams, ensuring alignment with baseline timelines, resource availability, and contractual milestones.
- Establish the project control framework at the site, including cost control procedures, budgeting templates, progress tracking formats, and performance reporting tools.
- Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly progress against planned schedules and budgets, identifying deviations and providing early warnings to project leadership.
- Implement Earned Value Management (EVM) techniques to analyze schedule and cost performance indices and recommend corrective actions to realign project delivery.
- Review and validate site budgets, cost codes, BOQs, and work breakdown structures to ensure accurate allocation of costs and timely cost-to-complete projections.
