Job Purpose: The Incharge - Project Planning is responsible for the project management, planning, and execution support for designated projects. This includes coordinating with subcontractors and project authorities, monitoring project work and financials, managing reporting and tracking, and ensuring project closure within timelines and budget.
Responsibilities
Incharge - Project Planning
Strategic Planning And Coordination
Develop a detailed logistics plan at the cluster level, aligning it with the overall project logistics.
Prepare cost estimations by compiling required project costs, including materials, manpower, equipment, subcontracting, and overheads, ensuring the project remains within the budgeted cost.
Support tender finalization for civil, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire-fighting, and landscaping works, ensuring alignment with project requirements and cost efficiency.
Project Management And Oversight
Coordinate with subcontractors and project authorities to ensure project readiness, resource availability, and smooth operational progress.
Proactively monitor project milestones and timelines to anticipate possible delays and implement advance actions as needed to avoid disruptions.
Identify, scope, and continuously monitor required work to maintain alignment with project specifications and goals.
Operational Responsibilities
Supervise site activities, including design, construction adherence, and quality control, ensuring alignment with project specifications and high standards of workmanship.
Plan and schedule materials, coordinate logistics, and oversee material management to prevent any shortages or delays.
Ensure the safety of personnel and materials, adhering strictly to safety protocols on-site.
Prepare and manage contractor billing, ensuring accuracy and alignment with completed work, and submit weekly progress reports on construction activities.
Review drawings, confirm the contractor's scope of work, and prepare material reconciliation statements.
Conduct cost control analysis and identify cost-saving opportunities during project execution, maintaining adherence to the approved project budget.
Financial Management
Develop and monitor project budgets, including expenditure planning and prioritization, to ensure optimal fund utilization.
Ensure accuracy and compliance with financial and metric data as per contractual obligations.
Review and analyze project expenditures, financials, and operational reports to optimize costs and increase project profitability.
Reporting And MIS
Prepare daily and weekly MIS, progress reports, and project updates for management presentations, ensuring data accuracy and timely communication.
Collaborate with the procurement department to secure necessary materials and equipment at optimal costs, supporting project efficiency.
Monitor and report on project metrics, providing insights into progress and financial health for informed decision-making.

Qualifications
Educational Qualification:
Education Qualification
Bachelor's degree in Civil engineering.
PGDBM in Project planning or related field preferred.
Work Experience (Range Of Years)
10-12 Years
Preferred Industry
Experience in project planning, budgeting, site supervision, and MIS in real estate or construction industries.
