Senior Manager - Packaging & Integration

Job Description:

The purpose of the job is to perform vehicle Integration activities like design, Integration, DMU, DFA, GD&T activities.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Integration checks for assembly.

2. Preparation of DFA and DMU documents.

3. Tolerance stack-up analysis and GD&T for complete vehicle assembly.

4. Resolving assembly level issues in 2W development

5. Integration of newly added components onto the vehicle

6. Maintaining vehicle level CAD.

7. Preparation of AIS drawings for homologation.

8. Preparation of Assembly sequence document.

9. Assisting PFD, PFMEA and control plan documentation.

10. Preparation of torque sheet and maintaining it as per the design requirement.

11. Vehicle BOM management.

12. Design release data pack creation and maintenance for procurement of components for vehicle builds.

13. Assisting initial mule builds

14. Design and Development of enclosure of electrical peripheral items

15. Design and development of vehicle harness

16. Integration of harness and electrical peripherals on the vehicle

17. Sort out Vendor technical queries and suggest improvements.

18. Responsible for achieving program imperatives (product performance, schedule, PPAP, quality). Support cost reduction and warranty reduction initiatives. Prepare reports and presentations for Customers and Internal Groups.

19. Mentor, coach, develop team members. Work effectively in a cross-functional team environment. Ensure company processes and procedures are abided by (ex: Product Development Process)

20. Involved in solving technical problems and provide cost effective, reliable and easy to use design solutions.

21. Evaluate alternate design options and Manufacturing process.

22. Define Design verification plan and execute the same.

23. Meet the regulatory requirements at component, system and vehicle level.
