Summary

The Senior Manager, Operations is a key leader reporting to the Director, Engineering. This role drives the execution, technical standards, and implementation roadmap for BizTech Operations supporting Salesforce, Workday, and Oracle.The position oversees production support and platform maintenance and leads the Quality Assurance function for these applications. The role

requires experience delivering complex enterprise operations implementations and leading business-critical programs with internal and external partners.

Success in this role depends on strong collaboration, technical depth in process optimization, and clear communication. As the organization rapidly adopts GenAI, candidates should demonstrate hands-on experience experimenting with and applying these technologies in their current role

Responsibilities

Job Description

  • Build and manage a high-performing global team of operational specialists and quality engineers.
  • Oversee production support and incident management for BizTech applications (Salesforce, Workday, Oracle) to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Responsible for engaging with our internal security team to ensure secure applications and retain our security posture.
  • Provide guidance in data governance initiatives to drive consistent and proper handling of operational data across the business.
  • Develop effort estimation, impact assessment, and risk mitigation strategies for the operations team.
  • Lead and manage the Quality Assurance (QA) team dedicated to testing and quality validation for all BizTech application projects and releases.
  • Mentor and coach to support growth opportunities for the team.
  • Direct the platform maintenance roadmap for BizTech applications, ensuring compliance, security, and the timely application of releases and feature updates, and proactively manage technical debt related to operational systems.

Required Skills And Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
  • Excellent communication and team management skills to engage with business users and stakeholders, present ideas and solutions to meet requirements, and foster strong collaboration.
  • Strategic problem solver with strong business knowledge and an ability to lead discussions involving technology options, with a focus on efficiency and optimization.
  • Hands-on approach to leadership, willing to deep dive and roll up sleeves to accomplish

What Is Needed

  • Ability to independently own and deliver complex projects end to end.
  • 10+ years of experience working in a global Operations environment (Process
  • Architecture and Management), with hands-on experience on enterprise systems, demonstrating horizontal process understanding.
  • Demonstrated experience with BizTech applications (Salesforce, Workday, Oracle) operations, production support, and QA leadership.
  • 5+ years of team management in a complex, multi-platform environment.
  • Demonstrated experience leading business-critical projects with internal and external teams.
  • Experience with Generative AI technologies, particularly in an operational or implementation capacity, is a plus.
