Senior Manager - Operational ExcellenceJob Description JOB OVERVIEW: The primary objective of the role is to drive the implementation of process improvement initiatives across PPS sites globally to enhance operational efficiency and to create a continuous improvement culture KEY STAKEHOLDERS: INTERNAL Site Leadership Team, Global OE Head, Corporate Functions KEY STAKEHOLDERS: EXTERNAL Vendors, Consulting Firms REPORTING STRUCTURE: Role directly reports to Operational Excellence Head- India QUALIFICATION: B Tech in Chemical/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or M.Pharm, Lean Six Sigma BB certified EXPERIENCE: 6 to 10 years of relevant experience in the area of Operational Excellence at any manufacturing location/Corporate/Consulting firm . Hands on experience in leading & implementing Excellence Model & Daily Management Practices through teams/ circles in Corp. Functions/ Mfg. areas, to bring culture transformation & excellence within organization. Should have driven projects/initiatives based on approaches i.e. Lean, ToC, Six Sigma etc SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Ability to organize the work, plan well and prioritize based on impact
  • Action-oriented and results-driven.
  • Analytical with strong command over MS Excel, MS Powerpoint, Data Analytics and Minitab Exposure to Industry 4.0 concepts
  • Should be able to deploy the practices across the assigned sites/functions as per the corporate OE plan
  • Ensure delivery of business process improvement initiatives through the implementation of predetermined/agreed synergies.
  • An expert in the use of Lean, ToC and Six Sigma tools & methodology. Coach and guide the users on utilizing these tools appropriately to implement projects and drive problem solving. Should be able to proactively identify obstacles and thus assist in the managing the projects.
  • Facilitate Lean Six Sigma White Belt, Yellow Belt, Green Belt, and other OE training Programs across locations to build a culture of continuous improvement
  • Develop & strategize excellence models relevant to the function & align to the corporate OE Model. Coaching & guiding function teams on excellence maturity models
  • Drive and support corporate initiative like guidelines/policy creation and implementation at Global sites.
  • Conduct data analytics and diagnostics to identify improvement opportunities in processes. Drive thematic improvement projects to enhance Productivity, Quality, Cost, Delivery, safety continuously.
  • Support the overall OE framework execution while partnering the Focused improvement teams & Daily Management Teams. Drive improvements in the critical KPIs.
  • Conduct Kaizen and KPI competition, Should effectively program manage the horizontal deployment of the OE best practices across the sites/ functions.
  • Drive accountability and help the sites achieve their financial saving targets and the other KPI targets.
  • Ensure drafting and sharing of the MIS and participate in the OE governance model.
  • Support the organization digitalization journey while engaging in the strategic and tactical digital use cases deployment.
  • Provide on-site support to help drive all the program as per the FY plan and the LRPFull time
