Job Title: Senior Manager – Government Relations & Engagement (Cybersecurity Ecosystem)

Location: Delhi NCR

Role Overview

EC-Council is looking for a seasoned Government Relations & engagement professional to drive strategic engagement with government bodies, industry associations, and policy institutions.

This role will be responsible for building strong relationships with central/state government stakeholders, working closely with government bodies, and driving advocacy-led initiatives to position EC-Council and the Global CISO Council within the public sector ecosystem.

The ideal candidate will bring deep understanding of government structures, policy frameworks, and institutional engagement, along with the ability to influence, collaborate, and navigate complex regulatory environments.

Key Responsibilities

Government Relations & Engagement

  • Build and manage relationships with central and state government bodies, ministries, and regulatory authorities
  • Drive strategic engagement with policymakers, bureaucrats, and public sector stakeholders
  • Represent EC-Council in government forums, roundtables, and policy discussions
  • Identify opportunities for collaboration with government-led cybersecurity and skilling initiatives

Industry Associations & Institutional Partnerships

  • Lead engagement with industry bodies such as NASSCOM, FICCI, ASSOCHAM and similar associations
  • Drive joint initiatives, policy dialogues, and ecosystem collaborations
  • Position EC-Council as a thought leader in cybersecurity policy and workforce development

Public Policy & Advocacy

  • Support and drive advocacy efforts aligned with cybersecurity, skilling, and digital transformation policies
  • Contribute to policy papers, consultation responses, and whitepapers
  • Track regulatory developments and provide strategic inputs to leadership
  • Influence policy through structured engagement and relationship building

Government Programs & Ecosystem Development

  • Identify and drive participation in government programs, missions, and national initiatives
  • Enable partnerships for training, certification, and capacity building within public sector
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align offerings with government priorities

Strategic Stakeholder Management

  • Act as a single point of contact for government and institutional stakeholders
  • Build long-term relationships and ensure continuous engagement and visibility
  • Navigate complex stakeholder environments with strong interpersonal and influencing skills

Required Experience

  • 8–15 years of experience in government relations / Public policy / Regulatory affairs / Institutional partnerships
  • Strong experience working with: Government bodies (central/state) or Industry associations (NASSCOM, FICCI, ASSOCHAM, etc.)
  • Proven track record in policy advocacy and stakeholder engagement
  • Deep understanding of government structures, processes, and decision-making frameworks
  • Experience in cybersecurity, technology, skilling, or digital policy domains is preferred
