We are seeking a Senior Manager for Master Data Management (MDM) to provide strategic oversight of enterprise-wide MDM and data quality initiatives. The role involves leading the development and implementation of MDM strategies, managing Informatica MDM platforms, and ensuring high data quality standards across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic oversight for the development and implementation of enterprise-wide MDM and data quality strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Lead the creation and execution of a comprehensive MDM and Data Quality roadmap across departments and systems.
- Oversee operations and governance of Informatica MDM platforms, ensuring integration with enterprise applications.
- Guide development of data models, taxonomies, and hierarchies to maintain enterprise-wide data consistency.
- Establish frameworks for data quality rules and automated workflows, focusing on proactive issue resolution.
- Direct implementation of data profiling techniques and statistical analysis for continuous data quality improvement.
- Coordinate cross-functional collaboration between IT teams and business units for data integration projects.
- Oversee design and implementation of data exchange mechanisms, including APIs, between MDM and enterprise systems.
- Manage development of custom Informatica workflows and mappings, delegating technical tasks as needed.
- Lead talent development within the team, fostering skills in advanced MDM concepts, Informatica best practices, and emerging data technologies.
- Serve as the primary liaison between the MDM/Data Quality team and senior stakeholders, translating technical concepts into business value.
- Present strategic updates, including data quality metrics, KPIs, and risk assessments, to executive management.
- Ensure compliance with data governance policies and regulatory requirements across MDM and data quality initiatives.
- Drive adoption of MDM and data quality best practices across the organization through stakeholder engagement and change management.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Technology, Mathematics, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience with Informatica (design, implementation, and optimization).
- 3+ years of direct management experience in data operations, data governance, or data quality.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data integration techniques.
- Proficiency in SQL; familiarity with Python or other scripting languages.
- Knowledge of data governance frameworks and metadata management.
- Familiarity with large language models and prompt engineering for data quality improvement.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Informatica MDM Certified Professional or Practitioner.
- Experience implementing data quality initiatives in multi-system, complex environments.
- Familiarity with cloud-based MDM solutions and data integration platforms (AWS, Azure).
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements such as GDPR and CCPA.
