Senior Manager (L5) – Advanced Quality

Analyse part designs from Engineering for manufacturability along with Matched Pair team.

Engage with suppliers during early vehicle development (EVI) to ensure quality and timely delivery of new parts.

Identify and recommend potential suppliers after receiving SOR from Engineering.

Shortlist suppliers based on technical capabilities through sourcing council technical review sign-off (TRSO) with Purchase, Engineering, and FMQ.

Participate in DFMEA reviews to capture potential design failures in current designs.

Prepare part development plans (PFEP) and Advanced Part Quality Plans (APQP) to meet vehicle build timelines.

Identify CTQ parameters for fitment and reliability; sign off Design Validation Plans as per Engineering specifications.

Develop supplier manufacturing plans including Process Flow Diagram, Floor Plan Layout, PFMEA, RPN Reduction Plan, facility preparation, machinery/equipment requirements, tooling, and packaging specifications.

Validate Tier 2 supplier planning, tooling, equipment, production capacity, PPAP, and Run @ Rate verification.

Prepare quality plans including APQP review frequency, control plans, gauges/checking fixtures, operator instructions, boundary samples, and TGR/TGW.
