Role SummaryThe Senior Manager – L&D will lead the design, development, and implementation of training and development initiatives across Jesus Calls Ministries. This role focuses on building a skilled, spiritually grounded, and high-performing workforce through structured learning systems, leadership development, and continuous capability building.
Key Responsibilities1. L&D Strategy & Planning
- Develop and execute the overall L&D strategy aligned with organizational and ministry goals
- Identify training needs across departments (Prayer Towers, Media, Admin, Field Ministries, etc.)
- Design annual training calendars and capability-building plans
2. Training Program Design & Delivery
- Create and deliver training programs (functional, behavioral, leadership, and spiritual development)
- Develop onboarding and induction programs for new employees and interns
- Ensure consistent training standards across all locations
3. Learning Systems & Digital Enablement
- Implement and manage Learning Management Systems (LMS)
- Drive digital learning initiatives including e-learning modules and assessments
- Maintain training records, content libraries, and certification tracking
4. Performance Management & Development
- Support performance appraisal systems and competency frameworks
- Work with leadership to identify high-potential employees and succession plans
- Design Individual Development Plans (IDPs) and career growth pathways
5. Leadership Development
- Design and run leadership development programs for managers and emerging leaders
- Strengthen managerial capabilities in people management, ministry leadership, and execution
- Coach and mentor key talent across departments
6. Training Effectiveness & Analytics
- Track training effectiveness through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics
- Analyze skill gaps and continuously improve programs
- Report L&D impact to leadership with measurable outcomes
7. Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with HR, department heads, and ministry leaders
- Align training initiatives with operational and spiritual goals
- Partner with external trainers or institutions when required
Key Requirements- Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred – HR / L&D / Organizational Development)
- 10–15+ years of experience in Learning & Development / HR
- Strong experience in training design, LMS, and performance management systems
- Exposure to multi-location training operations
- Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
