Job Description

Khushi Baby is seeking a Senior Manager: Knowledge Management and Evidence Utilization to strengthen the organization's ability to capture, synthesize, and share knowledge emerging from its programs, research, and digital health innovations.

This role will lead the development of systems and processes that enable Khushi Baby to translate implementation insights and research findings into high-quality knowledge products, policy-relevant insights, and strategic dissemination opportunities. The position will work closely with leadership, program, research, policy, and technology teams to ensure that learnings from Khushi Baby's work inform policy dialogue, program design, and the broader global health ecosystem. This is a 1-year position that can be extended upon mutual agreement and performance.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. Knowledge Management Strategy and Systems:
  2. Conduct a diagnostic assessment of Khushi Baby's existing knowledge management systems to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for improvement.
  3. Develop and implement a comprehensive knowledge management operational plan, including priorities, systems, documentation standards, and templates for knowledge outputs, in collaboration with the Country Lead.
  4. Establish and maintain internal knowledge repositories documenting program models, implementation insights, case studies, reports, and learning briefs.
  5. Design and standardize formats for organizational knowledge products, including policy briefs, toolkits, impact reports, and annual reports.
  6. Enable efficient internal access to institutional knowledge across teams by strengthening documentation practices and knowledge-sharing workflows.
  7. Work closely with state teams, technology and product teams, and other functional units to build and maintain a robust, cross-functional knowledge base.
  8. Build capacity of state, tech and product teams to maintain robust knowledge management systems.
  9. Shape and guide knowledge initiatives that strengthen Khushi Baby's research foundation and thought leadership.

  1. Evidence-based Advocacy:
  2. Develop and institutionalize a process for translating research outputs and program data into actionable dissemination materials, including policy briefs, toolkits, and program summaries to drive utilization of data-based insights from Khushi Baby's work.
  3. Lead the development of policy briefs and strategic knowledge products that highlight evidence and insights generated through Khushi Baby's work.
  4. Ensure accuracy, analytical rigor, and consistency in how evidence and program learnings are framed for external audiences.
  5. Collaborate with Policy, Implementation, and MEL teams to identify key insights emerging from data, evaluations, and program implementation that can inform advocacy and external engagement.
  6. Dissemination:
  7. Systematically identify external platforms, conferences, networks, and policy forums where Khushi Baby should share its insights and program learnings.
  8. Support the conceptualization, planning, and execution of dissemination events led by Khushi Baby, aligned with organizational priorities.
  9. Provide strategic support to the Country Lead and senior leadership in developing thought leadership articles, op-eds, and other external publications, in collaboration with other teams.
  10. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective dissemination of organizational knowledge outputs and evidence-based insights.

Qualifications and Skills

  • 7–9 years of experience in knowledge management, research translation, and policy engagement, preferably in public health, development, policy communications, or global health.
  • Demonstrated experience producing high-quality knowledge products such as policy briefs, reports, and research summaries.
  • Strong ability to translate technical or research findings into clear, accessible narratives for diverse audiences.
  • Experience working with multidisciplinary teams including program, research, MEL and policy stakeholders.
  • Excellent writing, synthesis, and communication skills.
  • Experience engaging with policy, research, or global health networks is an advantage.
