Job Summary
We are looking for a Manager to lead the Early Warning Signals (EWS) Monitoring function for the Bank's Credit Card portfolio within Evalueserve's Lending Services team.
The role involves leveraging TSYS and advanced analytics to monitor portfolio risk, identify early warning triggers, drive timely risk mitigation, and manage a high‑performing credit risk monitoring team.
Key Responsibilities
Manager will be part of the Lending Services team at Evalueserve, reporting to the Senior Manager / Associate Director, and will lead the Early Warning Signals (EWS) Monitoring function for the Bank's Credit Card portfolio. The role is responsible for leveraging the TSYS system and associated analytics platforms to identify potential risk patterns, detect portfolio deterioration trends, and analyze customer behavioral changes to facilitate timely interventions and effective risk mitigation.
- Oversee daily and periodic monitoring of defined KPIs to detect Early Warning Signals (EWS) or triggers on credit card accounts, in line with the bank's policies and guidelines
- Review and analyze TSYS system alerts to identify potential risks, including delinquency status (days past due, missed payments, roll rates); overlimit, returned payments/NSF flags; Promise-to-pay tracking and follow-ups; and high cash advance usage, etc.
- Monitor transaction patterns and anomalies on TSYS to identify unusual or high-risk behaviour, such as sudden large purchases after a period of inactivity; rapid balance build-up within a short timeframe; frequent overlimit or near-limit spending; and multiple transaction declines in quick succession, etc,
- Conduct borrower profile monitoring using Experian reports and other data sources to identify adverse credit alerts, including court records (bankruptcies, CCJs, insolvency filings); late or missed payments on loans, cards, or utilities; and high outstanding balances or charge-offs/settlements, etc.
- Manage a team by providing technical guidance, ongoing coaching, and performance feedback to ensure consistent quality and efficiency
- Conduct Quality Assurance (QA) reviews of outputs before submission to client credit teams, ensuring completeness and accuracy
- Drive process improvements, promote knowledge sharing, and enhance operational efficiency across the EWS monitoring function
- Oversee team performance, capacity planning, and SLA adherence, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with client expectations
Required Qualifications
- Graduate/Postgraduate in finance, statistics, economics, or related field (MBA/CA/CFA preferred)
- 6 – 9 years of experience in credit risk management, EWS monitoring, portfolio analytics, or credit card operations
- Knowledge of credit lifecycle processes, delinquency management, and early warning methodologies
- Strong experience with TSYS (or similar core card management systems)
- Open to work mandatory 5 days WFO, shift timings will be 11:00AM - 8:30PM.

- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with ability to interpret large data sets and identify risk trends
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for management reporting
