Senior Manager- IT Assets

The Senior Manager Asset Management, Audit & Compliance will oversee end-to-end lifecycle management of all company IT and non-IT assets, including laptops, desktops, HDDs, network peripherals, rental assets, and logistics-managed inventory.

The role ensures complete governance, compliance, audit readiness, asset recovery, and drives process improvement initiatives and strategic projects across all locations.

This leader will collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, Admin, HR, Finance, Logistics, Security, and Operations) to enable efficient, compliant, cost-effective, and transparent asset operations.

Key Responsibilities

Asset Management

Manage end-to-end lifecycle of IT & Non-IT Assets (laptops, desktops, HDDs, peripherals, rental assets, etc.)

Ensure accurate CMDB/Asset Register with 100% visibility across all locations

Oversee procurement, tagging, issuance, tracking, returns, repair, and disposal

Lead rental asset management, warranty/AMC, vendor SLA monitoring

Drive asset utilization, optimization & refresh cycles

Asset Audit

Lead periodic physical & digital asset audits across all sites

Execute quarterly/annual audits, surprise checks, reconciliation

Maintain audit trails, documentation, and compliance records

Identify discrepancies and drive closure with responsible teams

Improve audit hygiene and control effectiveness

Compliance & Governance

Ensure adherence to IT Security Standards, ISO/SOC2, internal policy compliance

Implement SOPs for issuance, return, movement & disposal

Ensure financial, legal, and operational compliance for all assets

Enforce asset custodianship, access controls, and documentation standards

Prepare compliance dashboards, risk reports, and audit responses

Asset Recovery & Return/Repair Management

Own asset recovery for resignations, terminations, absconders & vendor exits

Improve return TAT and reduce non-returned/lost assets

Manage reverse logistics for pickup, transit, intake & RMA

Drive recovery workflows with HR, Admin, Security & Regional Teams

Ensure refurbishing, sanitization, and redeployment of recovered assets

Logistics & Inventory Control

Manage warehousing, stock accuracy, replenishment, and QC

Oversee dispatch, delivery, and movement of assets across regions

Optimize freight, storage, handling, SLA & movement TAT

Process Improvement & Projects

Identify gaps and lead improvement/automation initiatives

Standardize asset processes and SOPs across locations

Lead cross-functional asset processes & transformation projects

Reporting & Tools

Maintain ITAM/CMDB tools, dashboards, utilization reports

Integrate with HRMS, Procurement, Finance & ITSM

Vendor Management

Manage vendors for procurement, rentals, repairs & logistics

Review SLAs, billing, contracts, performance, and compliance

Team Leadership

Manage asset teams across regions/warehouses

Define KPIs, train teams, ensure productivity & compliance

Required Experience & Skills

815 years in IT Asset Management, Logistics, Audit, or IT Operations

Strong understanding of ITAM/ITSM/CMDB

Experience in compliance, asset audit, recovery workflows

Strong stakeholder management with IT, HR, Finance, Ops
