Role Description
The Senior Manager - Internal Auditor will oversee and manage internal audit functions for the organization, ensuring adherence to operational processes, compliance, and policies. Key responsibilities will include developing and executing audit plans, conducting risk assessments, evaluating financial records, and identifying control process improvements. The role also involves providing recommendations to enhance operational efficiency and mitigate risks, as well as preparing comprehensive audit reports for management. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Internal Auditing, Risk Assessment, and Regulatory Compliance.
- Proficiency in Financial Analysis, Financial Reporting, and Accounting Principles.
- Strong Analytical Thinking, Problem-Solving, and Attention to Detail skills.
- Excellent Communication, Interpersonal, and Leadership abilities.
- Knowledge of financial services or microfinance sector practices is an advantage.
- Ability to manage and mentor audit teams effectively.
- Professional certifications such as CA, CPA, or CIA would be mandatory
- Experience of 2 to 4 years preferred
