Job Summary

Medline is seeking a seasoned Senior Manager Identity and Access Management (IAM) & Network Security (NetSec) to lead a team of professionals in delivering secure, scalable, and resilient identity and network security solutions. This senior role within the security organization is responsible for both engineering projects and operational execution across IAM and NetSec domains.

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in privileged access management (PAM), identity governance and administration, federated authentication, and enterprise network security. This role demands strong people management capabilities, strategic planning, and hands-on leadership in hybrid environments.

Major Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead and mentor a team of 1015 IAM and NetSec manager, engineers and analysts.
  • Foster a high-performance culture focused on collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Engineering & Operations Ownership

  • Oversee engineering and operational tasks across IAM and NetSec, ensuring service reliability, scalability, and compliance.
  • Manage 24x7x365 on-call support for critical IAM and NetSec services.

Technical Expertise

  • Serve as SME and escalation point for critical issues
  • Provide architectural guidance and oversight for network security technologies including firewalls, VPNs, segmentation, and access controls.

Security & Compliance

  • Ensure IAM and NetSec implementations align with internal security policies, regulatory requirements, and audit standards.
  • Drive adherence to compliance frameworks such as NIST CSF, HIPAA, GDPR, and ISO 27001.

Project & Program Management

  • Lead IAM and NetSec initiatives from planning through execution, including resource allocation, milestone tracking, and stakeholder communication.

Process Optimization & Automation

  • Identify and implement automation opportunities using scripting, APIs, and orchestration tools to improve operational efficiency.

Budgeting & Vendor Management

  • Own budgeting and financial planning for IAM and NetSec programs, including vendor selection and contract management.

Minimum Job Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Certifications

  • Preferred: CISSP, CISM, CCSP, Azure Solutions Architect Expert

Work Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in IAM and network security, including leadership roles
  • 4+ years managing technical teams and operational support in hybrid environments
  • Proven experience with PAM, Identity Management, enterprise firewall technologies, WAF's. etc..

Skills & Abilities

  • Strong leadership and team development capabilities
  • Deep understanding of IAM and NetSec principles and technologies
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience with budget planning and vendor negotiations
  • Familiarity with Zero Trust models and role-based access control (RBAC)
  • Proficiency in automation and scripting for IAM and NetSec workflows
