Job Overview:
A Senior Manager of Growth in the business development vertical at an advertising agency
plays a pivotal role in driving the agency's expansion and revenue generation. This individual is
responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and
enhancing client relationships.
Responsibilities:
● Core responsibilities will include growing business for the agency through outbound
leads and on-boarded brands internally
● Should be able to handle clients independently and take charge of the entire process
from the intro call to pitch and eventually closure (external and internal)
● Should be a strategic and quick thinker and be able to participate in brainstorms.
● Should be able to handle pressure situations and find the best and logical solution.
● Should be able to understand the client's requirement and independently make cost
proposals.
● Should have in depth understanding of all verticals that the agency provides (SMM,
Video, Media, Tech, ORM, Branding, SEO, Packaging)
● Should be able to lead negotiation calls and deliver final outcome post approvals
● The candidate should be able to leverage their own contacts and leads and at the
same time identify prospective ones through cold calls, LinkedIn, Networking etc. (Add
on)
● The candidate should also be able to help draft agreements, keep track of start & end
dates and ensure agreements across the board at all times are fully maintained.
● The expectation is to be able to independently close 3 retainers & 3 projects per
quarter.
● The candidate is expected to travel across cities / countries as and when there is a
need for potential client meetings / pitches / presentations.
● Candidate should actively take up the responsibility of liaising with the internal teams
to consistently update pitch decks across services / industries
● Candidate should present a quarterly report on the work done / closures / bifurcation
between wins & losses as well as present a case for the quarter upcoming
● Candidates are expected to liaison with the internal team to ensure that case studies
are constantly prepared for projects as and when the projects are complete & the same
applies to retainers and the campaigns that are executed by the internal team.
● Preferably should belong to an agency background
