Job Description

We're hiring a Senior Manager – Founder's Office to work directly with the Founder/CEO and the central Centre of Excellence (COE) team at Pepper Content. This role partners closely with our US business and leadership, so you'll be working US hours (5:00 PM – 2:30 AM IST) from our Mumbai office. This is a high-ownership role for someone who thrives in ambiguity, runs hard at problems, and turns founder-level priorities into shipped outcomes. You'll own cross-functional programs spanning AI transformation, GTM, operations, and strategy — and you'll be measured on what gets done, not what gets discussed.

Location & Hours

Base location: Mumbai (in-office).

Working hours: 5:00 PM – 2:30 AM IST, aligned to US business hours, Monday–Friday.

This is non-negotiable — the role requires real-time collaboration with the Founder and US-based stakeholders. Please apply only if you're comfortable with this schedule.

What You'll Do

Drive end-to-end program management for the Founder's most critical initiatives — set goals, define milestones, unblock teams, and ensure on-time, on-quality delivery.

Lead AI transformation programs across the company: identify high-leverage workflows, partner with product/engineering/ops to deploy AI-first solutions, and measure impact on speed, cost, and quality.

Partner with the central COE team to scale playbooks, processes, and tooling across business units — bringing operational rigour to areas that are still founder-led or ad-hoc.

Build dashboards, reviews, and operating cadences (weekly/monthly business reviews, OKR tracking, exec updates) that give the Founder real-time visibility into what's working and what isn't.

Step in as a force multiplier — own special projects end-to-end, from M&A diligence and fundraising prep to new market entry, pricing experiments, or customer escalations.

Translate founder vision into crisp briefs, plans, and execution roadmaps that other teams can run with.

Act as the primary bridge between the India team and US stakeholders — ensuring nothing falls through the cracks across time zones.

What We're Looking For

5–9 years of experience in a mix of consulting (top-tier MBB/Big-4), high-growth startup operations, founder's office, or chief of staff roles.

Demonstrated ability to drive large, cross-functional programs at scale — you've owned things end-to-end, not just coordinated.

Strong bias for action: you default to shipping, not deliberating. You'd rather get a v1 out and iterate than hold a third meeting.

Hands-on familiarity with AI tools (LLMs, agents, automation platforms) and a clear point of view on how AI changes how work gets done. Bonus if you've actually deployed AI workflows in a business setting.

Sharp first-principles thinking, structured problem-solving, and the ability to go from boardroom strategy to spreadsheet-level execution in the same day.

Excellent written and verbal communication — you can write a one-pager that lands with the founder, the board, or a frontline team.

High ownership, low ego, and the operational rigour to follow up on the 100th detail without losing sight of the bigger picture.

Comfortable working US hours from Mumbai on a sustained basis — prior experience working with US teams/clients is a strong plus.

Why This Role

Direct line to the Founder and the leadership team — the work you do shapes company direction.

Front-row seat to AI transformation in a content + marketplace business at scale.

Deep exposure to the US market, which is Pepper's fastest-growing segment.

Fast track to leadership roles within Pepper as the company grows.
