Job Description:
- Media client billing, revenue accounting, and month-end close, including 23 years in a supervisory role.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing and developing billing/accounting teams with strong focus on accuracy and deadlines.
- Expertise in media billing systems and workflows: verification, reconciliation, invoicing, credit adjustments, and dispute resolution.
- Strong knowledge of GST and withholding tax.
- Hands-on experience with full month-end close processes: journal entries, accruals, deferrals, reconciliations, revenue recognition, and trial balance matching.
- Familiarity with accounts receivable and aging report monitoring.
- Strong understanding of media operations: estimates, POs, release orders, and booking systems.
- Proficiency in financial/media platforms (Bigsun, D365) and advanced Excel.
- Skilled in revenue reconciliations for financial reporting.
- Ability to identify process gaps and implement automation to improve accuracy and shorten close cycles.
- Ensures compliance with internal controls, audits, and intercompany reconciliations.
- Competent in generating and analyzing billing/revenue reports.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management for escalations and cross-functional alignment.
