Job Description
Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chartered Accountant (CA) with 6-8 years of expertise in handling finance, statutory and internal audits and Direct and Indirect taxation. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of financial regulations and auditing standards, with a proven ability to manage financial operations, ensure compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handling Statutory and Internal Audit:
- Plan, lead, and manage statutory and internal audits, ensuring that all audit requirements are met and completed within deadlines.
- Review audit schedules, coordinate with auditors, and resolve any audit queries in a timely manner.
- Implement corrective measures to address audit findings and maintain effective internal controls.
- Compliance & Taxation:
- Ensure compliance with statutory tax laws, including GST, income tax, and other indirect taxes.
- Ensure timely filing of tax audits, tax returns, including corporate tax, TDS, GST, and other statutory filings, responses to notices received from tax regulatory bodies.
- Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead and mentor a team of junior accountants and finance staff, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and accounting best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and recommendations.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify and implement improvements in financial and accounting processes, aiming for greater efficiency, accuracy, and automation.
- Stay updated on changes in financial regulations, accounting standards, and best practices.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education and Experience: Chartered Accountant with 6-8 years of post-qualification experience in finance, auditing, and taxation.
