Job Description

  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts for insurance and reinsurance entities.
  • Ensure accurate posting of journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
  • Drive timely and accurate financial close processes.
  • Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations and P&L analysis.
  • Prepare statutory and management reports in compliance with IFRS/GAAP and regulatory requirements.
  • Support preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements.
  • Handle premium, claims, and commission accounting.
  • Manage reinsurance treaties, ceded and assumed transactions, and related settlements.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and process optimization within R2R.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices.
  • Education: CA/CPA/MBA Finance or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience: Minimum 6 years in Finance & Accounts with at least 3 years in Insurance/Reinsurance domain.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS/US GAAP, insurance accounting principles, and regulatory compliance.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
