Job Description

Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts for insurance and reinsurance entities.
Ensure accurate posting of journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
Drive timely and accurate financial close processes.
Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations and P&L analysis.
Prepare statutory and management reports in compliance with IFRS/GAAP and regulatory requirements.
Support preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements.
Handle premium, claims, and commission accounting.
Manage reinsurance treaties, ceded and assumed transactions, and related settlements.
Identify opportunities for automation and process optimization within R2R.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices.
Education: CA/CPA/MBA Finance or equivalent qualification.
Experience: Minimum 6 years in Finance & Accounts with at least 3 years in Insurance/Reinsurance domain.
Strong knowledge of IFRS/US GAAP, insurance accounting principles, and regulatory compliance.
Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
