Overview
- A tleast 13 years of experience in medical coding with Surgery as primary specialty. Payer experience is added advantage. Must have strong knowledge on anatomy/Physiology/Medical terminology/General surgery/Same day surgery coding.
- Execute day to day activities, planning of deliverables as per availability of users.
- Ensure team meets the required SLAs (productivity and quality)
- Identify issues and proactively plan for resolutions
- Handle client escalations, participate in client/onshore calls and status meetings and ensure proper feedback is communicated to the respective stakeholders
- Initiate process improvement methods and best practices that improve performance of team .
Qualifications
- Masters in Biology/B.Pt/M.Pt, B,Pharm/M.Pharm/B.Sc Nursing/B.A.M.S/B.H.M.S
- Proficiency in word and Excel. Excellent organization skills. Ability to perform multiple concurrent tasks. Candidate should be currently a DM or manager on papers.
Experience
Minimum 13 years of relevant experience. Payer side experience is added advantage.

Working Hours: Mid shift
Work Model: Hybrid - Should be able to work from office at least for the first 6 months.

Skills And Abilities
- Should be certified from AAPC/AHIMA. CPC or CCS Certification must be active. Specialty certification is an added advantage.
- Able to handle coding team.
- Able to provide required training and assistance.
- Ability to understand exact requirement of client and provide them with more than the expected results in terms of productivity and quality.
- Decision making.
- Good research and analytical skills to gain required information from various sources.
- Able to identify and implement ways to build better team effectiveness.
- Maintain compliance in process with HIPAA and ISO standards and adhere company policies.
- Review and report on process updates and team metrics with management team.
