Position Title: Sr. Manager Engineering
Job Description:
We are seeking a visionary and results-driven Engineering leader to lead our Agentic AI engineering teams. This leader will be responsible for building and scaling world-class Agentic AI shopping experiences for our customers. You will drive the technical strategy, architecture, and execution of our Agentic commerce systems, ensuring seamless, personalized, and high-performance experiences that enables seamless product discovery, checkout and meal planning.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Lead and grow high-performing engineering teams focused on building best in class Agentic AI Commerce.
- Develop and execute the roadmap for integrating agentic AI systems (autonomous and semi-autonomous agents) into commerce workflows.
- Identify high-impact use cases such as AI-driven personalization, dynamic pricing, automated merchandising, and conversational shopping.
- Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and business teams to design, deploy, and iterate on AI agent solutions.
- Manage vendor relationships and evaluate emerging technologies (e.g., multi-agent frameworks, LLM-powered commerce assistants).
- Champion engineering excellence, agile practices, and a culture of continuous improvement.
- Lead pilot programs for agent-based customer engagement (e.g., shopping concierges, automated support agents, AI influencers).

Experience Required:
- 10+ years of software engineering experience.
- Experience building and leading high-performance teams.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or related field.
- Strong understanding of LLMs, multi-agent systems, reinforcement learning, and autonomous workflows.
- Proven ability to translate complex AI concepts into measurable business outcomes.
- Experience with platforms such as LangChain, CrewAI, AutoGen, OpenAI API, or similar agentic frameworks.
- Proven experience building large-scale consumer facing applications.
- Ability to create, influence and present complex system architecture and design.
- Deep understanding of event streaming (Kafka or Rabbit MQ OR MQ or WebSphere MQ).
- Deep understanding of SQL and NOSQL DB (Mongo DB / Cassandra).
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
