Summary
The Senior Manager of Data Engineering & Integrations will lead the strategy, architecture, and execution of the organization's modern data and integrations platform. This leader will oversee Snowflake-based data engineering, enterprise integrations (ADF, Boomi), analytics platforms (Tableau, Power BI), and data governance functions. The ideal candidate will drive transformation of the current BI environment by improving data integrity, eliminating redundancy, enabling trusted analytics, and accelerating business insights. This role will partner closely with Data Architects, CRM, ERP, Product, and Technology teams to deliver an enterprise-grade data ecosystem that supports AI-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop multiple Data Engineering and Integration teams supporting Snowflake, ADF, Boomi, Tableau, and Power BI tools.
- Own and modernize the enterprise data architecture with a strong focus on standardization, scalability, and governance.
- Drive transformation of the current BI environment including Snowflake data models, Tableau dashboards, Power BI reporting, and ingestion pipelines.
- Collaborate with Data Architects to redesign and rationalize data structures, eliminating redundancy and improving data integrity.
- Ensure high levels of data trust, accuracy, lineage, and quality across all business-facing analytical assets.
- Oversee Azure Data Factory (ADF) pipelines to orchestrate enterprise data flows from CRM, ERP, Product, and other systems.
- Manage Boomi integrations to ensure seamless data movement between back-office platforms and analytics environments.
- Partner with business stakeholders to enable a data-driven culture with actionable insights and self-service analytics.
- Introduce AI and advanced analytics capabilities to empower business teams to extract insights with fewer manual processes.
- Define KPIs, SLAs, documentation standards, and delivery practices for data engineering and integration operations.
- Collaborate with security and IT to ensure compliance, governance, and efficient data lifecycle management.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, and enterprise integrations.
- Strong expertise with Snowflake including schema design, data modeling, performance tuning, and pipeline development.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) for orchestration and automation.
- Experience with Boomi integrations across CRM, ERP, Product, and other enterprise systems.
- Proficiency with BI/analytics tools including Tableau and Power BI.
- Deep understanding of data governance, quality management, lineage, metadata standards, and master data management concepts.
- Experience removing redundant data structures and building trusted, unified data layers.
- Proven ability to lead technical teams and manage complex transformation programs.
- Experience enabling AI/ML analytics or integrating AI to improve business decision-making.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
