We are seeking a highly analytical Senior Manager - Data Analytics to work with stakeholders to leverage company data and drive business solutions. You will be responsible for developing custom data models and algorithms, using predictive modeling to optimize business outcomes, and providing recommendations to business users. This role requires a strong understanding of coding languages like R or Python, a variety of machine learning techniques, and excellent communication skills to coordinate with different functional teams.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Work with stakeholders to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions.
- Mine and analyze data from company databases to drive the optimization and improvement of business strategies.
- Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of data sources and data gathering techniques.
- Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets.
- Use predictive modeling to increase and optimize business outcomes.
- Operationalize models and algorithms into structured software, programs, or operational processes.
- Coordinate with different functional teams to implement models and monitor outcomes.
- Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy.
- Provide recommendations to business users based on data and model outcomes.
Skills Required:
- Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on business development.
- Experience with coding languages like R or Python (for data cleaning, statistics, and modeling), SQL, VBA, and DAX (PowerBI).
- Knowledge of working with and creating data architectures.
- Knowledge of a variety of machine learning techniques (e.g., clustering, decision trees, artificial neural networks).
- Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts (e.g., regression, statistical tests).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams.
- A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and convincing skills.
QUALIFICATION:
- Bachelor's degree (BSc/BTech) in applied sciences with statistics coursework, or a relevant certification.
