The Senior Manager – CSR will support the planning, coordination, and execution of the company's CSR initiatives and ESG-related activities. The role focuses on on-ground implementation, stakeholder coordination, documentation, and reporting support to ensure CSR programs are delivered effectively and in compliance with applicable regulations.
Experience: At least 5–8+ years of experience in CSR, sustainability, community development, or related roles.
Qualification: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Sciences, Business, Sustainability, Public Policy, or related fields
Job description:
1. CSR Program Execution & Coordination
- Support the implementation of CSR strategy and annual action plans as defined by leadership.
- Coordinate day-to-day activities for ongoing CSR projects across focus areas such as community development, education, health, and environment.
- Assist in organizing CSR events, field visits, employee volunteering activities, and community outreach programs.
- Track project timelines, deliverables, and budgets to ensure smooth execution.
2. Stakeholder Coordination
- Liaise with NGO partners, vendors, community representatives, and local authorities for program implementation.
- Coordinate internally with cross-functional teams (HR, Finance, Operations, Communications) to ensure timely execution of CSR initiatives.
- Maintain regular communication with implementation partners to monitor progress and resolve operational issues.
3. Monitoring, Documentation & Reporting
- Collect data and supporting documents from partners to track project progress and impact metrics.
- Maintain accurate records of CSR activities, expenditures, and compliance documentation.
- Assist in preparing periodic CSR reports, dashboards, and presentations for internal review.
- Support impact measurement activities through data compilation and basic analysis.
4. ESG Reporting Support
- Assist in gathering data required for ESG and sustainability reporting.
- Support preparation of CSR disclosures and documentation aligned with frameworks such as Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and CSR requirements under the Companies Act, 2013.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate submission of required information.
5. Compliance & Governance Support
- Ensure CSR documentation and processes follow internal policies and regulatory guidelines.
- Assist in preparation for CSR audits and statutory filings.
- Keep track of regulatory updates related to CSR and ESG and escalate relevant changes to the reporting manager.
6. Communication & Awareness
- Support internal communication initiatives to promote CSR programs and employee engagement.
- Assist in drafting content for newsletters, presentations, social media updates, and impact stories.
- Document success stories, beneficiary testimonials, and visual evidence from field activities.
