Responsibilities, aka, what we'd like you to deliver :
- Review and drive the operational excellence in the procure to pay process;
- Process and account for RTV transactions in the system.
- Reconcile RTV balances with vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Coordinate with procurement, Operations to ensure proper documentation and approvals.
- Track and validate CNs from vendors against returned goods. Ensuring proper internal controls and documentation (SOPs/checklist) for assigned processes including but not limited to vendor payments, vendor disputes, vendor reconciliation, claims management and vendor returns Manage and supervise return to vendors billing to ensure operational excellence.
- Manage and supervise claims billing, collection to timely billing and collection to optimise working capital
- Provide support for internal and statutory audits and for monthly financial reviews with business partners,
- Review and drive action on balance sheet schedules related to accounts payable/receivables. Developing strong partnership with Category, Finance Partners, Tech teams, and Supply Chain/Ops Ensure that cost efficiency and a cost-conscious culture is a key focus for the organization
- Manage controls in the area of procure to pay and ensure accuracy in recording invoices, payments, vendor receipts ,claims/disputes, etc.
- Supervise the accounting for business transactions
- Ensure adherence to company's accounting policy and guidelines
Are you who we're searching for
- CA/MBA with 2+ years of relevant experience.
- Should have strong excel skills and ability to handle volumes, SAP knowledge preferable,
- Good communication skills and ability to multi-task and deal with ambiguity
- Understanding of the retail business. Prior experience in a complex retail organization or E-Commerce.
- Proven ability to develop new ideas and creative solutions
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
- Proven ability to work successfully in an ambiguous environment
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workload
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
