As our cloud and services business continues to expand, we are looking for a Sales Manager – Cloud & Services who can lead teams, govern execution, and drive structured, high-quality sales outcomes.

Role Summary:

The Sales Manager – Cloud & Services is a people and deal leadership role. The individual will be responsible for leading a small team of BDMs, governing sales execution, and owning deal strategy for medium to large opportunities across cloud, IT services, and cybersecurity.

This role sits at the intersection of sales, engineering, and delivery, ensuring that opportunities are well-qualified, correctly solutioned, and smoothly handed over for execution.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Team Leadership & Sales Governance

· Lead, mentor, and govern a team of 2–3 Business Development Managers across cloud, IT services, Solutions and cybersecurity.

· Conduct regular pipeline reviews, forecasting, and deal with governance meetings.

· Guide BDMs on account planning, opportunity qualification, and deal positioning.

· Enforce disciplined sales processes, reporting, and accountability.

2. Deal Strategy & Orchestration

· Own deal shaping and strategy for medium to large enterprise opportunities.

· Coordinate closely with:

- Cloud architects

- Cybersecurity teams

- Service delivery managers

- Finance and operations teams

· Ensure technical proposals, commercials, and delivery assumptions are aligned.

· Identify deal risks early and drive mitigation and closure strategies.

3. Cross-Functional & Service Alignment

· Act as the bridge between sales and service delivery teams.

· Ensure seamless collaboration during:

- Discovery

- Solution design

- Proposal development

- Sales-to-delivery handover

· Prevent over-commitment, scope creep, and delivery misalignment.

4. Customer & Partner Engagement

· Participate in strategic customer discussions to:

- Build credibility and trust

- Validate solution approach

- Support closure of complex deals

· Drive and support joint sales motions with cloud and cybersecurity partners.

· Represent LDS Infotech's sales execution capability in customer and partner forums.

5. Sales Execution & Scale

· Drive consistent, repeatable sales execution across accounts and offerings.

· End-To-End ownership of P&L Management & Sales Strategy for all solutions under LDS's portfolio.

· Improve:

- Win rates

- Deal cycle time

- Quality of sales-to-delivery handovers

· Contribute to building sales playbooks, proposal frameworks, and best practices.

· Provide leadership with clear visibility into pipeline health, risks, and forecasts.

Candidate Requirements:

1. Experience:

· 8–12+ years of experience in B2B IT / Cloud / Services sales.

· Prior experience managing BDMs or sales executives is mandatory.

· Strong exposure to cloud services, managed services, cybersecurity, and enterprise IT solutions.

· Proven ability to handle complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise deals

2. Education & Skills:

Academic qualification (BSc / BE / BTech or equivalent) – mandatory.

Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Strong understanding of solution selling and consultative sales approaches.

Ability to work in a cross-functional work environment.

3. Certifications:

I. Mandatory (At least one cloud certification):

· AWS (Fundamental or above)

· Microsoft Azure (Fundamental or above)

· Google Cloud (Fundamental or above)

II. Preferred / Good to Have

· ITIL Foundation

· Cybersecurity certifications (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Check Point, etc.)

· Sales or solution-selling certifications

· Any OEM certifications relevant to LDS Infotech's portfolio
