Position Summary...

Drives the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs; developing and communicating business plans and priorities; removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance; providing resources; identifying performance standards; measuring progress and adjusting performance accordingly; developing contingency plans; and demonstrating adaptability and supporting continuous learning. Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by selecting and training; mentoring; assigning duties; building a team-based work environment; establishing performance expectations and conducting regular performance evaluations; providing recognition and rewards; coaching for success and improvement; and promoting a belonging mindset in the workplace. Promotes and supports company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by training and providing direction to others in their use and application; ensuring compliance with them; and utilizing and supporting the Open Door Policy. Ensures business needs are being met by evaluating the ongoing effectiveness of current plans, programs, and initiatives; consulting with business partners, managers, co-workers, or other key stakeholders; soliciting, evaluating, and applying suggestions for improving efficiency and cost-effectiveness; and participating in and supporting community outreach events.

What you'll do...

Job Summary:

The Sr. Manager (Claims Business Support) will lead strategic and operational enablement for the Claims Center of Excellence (CoE). This role is responsible for driving operational excellence across claims processing through strong oversight of transition management, training & capability development, quality governance, and AI fluency initiatives. As a key member of the leadership team, the role partners closely with the Location Head to stabilize operations, build scalable frameworks, enable digital transformation, and enhance workforce capability while ensuring compliance, accuracy, and service excellence.

About the Team:

The Claims Center of Excellence (CoE) supports end-to-end claims processing and operational excellence initiatives. The team focuses on service delivery, quality governance, process standardization, transition management, and digital transformation to ensure high performance, compliance, and customer satisfaction across claims operations.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead claims operations enablement including SLA governance, quality oversight, escalations management, and process standardization.
  • Drive end-to-end transition management including process migrations, scope onboarding, system implementations, and stabilization tracking.
  • Develop and scale training frameworks for new hires and upskilling programs to enhance workforce capability and leadership development.
  • Champion AI fluency and automation initiatives to improve efficiency, productivity, and digital adoption across claims operations.
  • Partner with operations and technology stakeholders to manage risks, improve performance visibility, and ensure compliance excellence.

What You'll Bring:

1215 years of experience in claims and insurance operations, including over 5 years managing large teams and driving transition management, stakeholder engagement, and operational excellence. Proven expertise in quality governance, compliance frameworks, and leading AI-driven digital transformation initiatives to enhance efficiency and performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.

Experience:

  • 1215 years of experience in claims processing or insurance operations.
  • 5+ years in operations management roles.
  • Strong experience in transition management and stakeholder engagement.
  • Expertise in quality management and compliance frameworks.
  • AI/digital transformation experience highly desirable.
