Key Responsibilities
Data Architecture & Platform Leadership
- Lead the design and implementation of enterprise data architecture, including data warehouse, data lake, and customer data platform (CDP).
- Own cloud‑based data platforms like Azure Synapse, including performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Define data standards, integration patterns, and best practices across the data ecosystem.
Data Engineering & Integration
- Design and build robust, scalable data pipelines using ETL / ELT patterns.
- Integrate data from enterprise platforms such as Salesforce, SAP, and other customer data processing systems.
- Ensure high data quality, reconciliation, lineage, and operational stability across all pipelines.
- Support both batch and near real‑time data ingestion where required.
Business Intelligence & Visualization
- Lead the development of enterprise BI and visualization solutions using Power BI.
- Build scalable semantic models and high‑impact dashboards for senior leadership and business teams.
- Enable real‑time and near real‑time dashboards for operational and commercial use cases (experience is a strong plus).
- Promote self‑service analytics while maintaining governance and consistency.
Analytics, Forecasting & Business Insights
- Enable advanced analytics and forecasting to support demand planning, sales performance, marketing effectiveness, and financial planning.
- Partner with stakeholders to translate business questions into analytics use cases and data models.
- Drive adoption of data‑driven decision‑making across the organization.
Functional Ownership – Sales, Marketing & Finance
- Deliver analytics and reporting solutions for Sales & Marketing, including pipeline, performance, customer behavior, and campaign insights.
- Support Finance analytics, including revenue, cost, margin, forecasting, and performance management use cases.
- Ensure data accuracy, auditability, and alignment with business metrics.
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Act as the single‑point owner for data engineering and analytics initiatives.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of data engineers, BI developers, and analysts.
- Collaborate closely with IT, Digital, Sales, Marketing, and Finance leadership.
- Prioritize initiatives based on business impact and delivery timelines.
