Role Overview
We are hiring aSenior Manager - Business Financeto be thefinance owner for Food business.
This is afront-line business finance role- you will sit with business, product, marketing, and partnerships teams andshape strategy, pricing, investments, and growth decisions.
You will not just report numbers - you willdecide where Swiggy should invest, what to shut down, and how to scale profitably.
What you will own
1. Business Partnering & Strategy
. Act as thefinance partner to the leadership teams . Evaluategrowth bets, marketing spends, discounting, loyalty programs, partnerships, and new product launches . Build and ownbusiness cases, ROI frameworks, and unit economics . Drivequarterly and annual plans (AOP, OP1/OP2)with sharp target setting and clear trade-offs2. Commercial & Revenue Ownership
. Own and improvetake-rates, discount structures, partner commissions, and promo ROI . Lead thecommercial modeling and negotiation supportfor: Restaurant partnerships, POS / payment integrations, Events & experience partners . Trackcontribution margin, burn, and profitabilityat category, city, and cohort level3. Performance Management
. Build and runweekly/monthly business reviewswith leadership . Identifygrowth gaps, cost leakages, and monetization opportunities . Convert data intoclear narratives and actionsfor CXOs and business heads
4. Forecasting, MIS & Decision Support
. Ownforecasting, rolling outlooks, and scenario planning . Buildself-serve dashboards and automated MIS . Providedeep dives on user cohorts, repeat behavior, pricing elasticity, and ROI
5. Operating & Hustle Mindset
. Work like astartup CFO inside Swiggy . Get hands-on when needed - messy data, unclear problems, fast turnarounds . Createstructure, but move fast
Who we are looking for
This role is for someone who wants to be afuture CFO / business leader, not a reporting analyst.
Experience
. 3+ yearsof high-quality experience . Tier-1 MBA (Finance / Strategy) OR first-time CA . Experience inB2C / consumer tech startupspreferred
