Senior Performance Testing Engineer

Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Performance Testing Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have 5-8 years of experience in performance testing, with a solid understanding of testing methodologies and best practices. You will work closely with our development team to identify and resolve performance issues, as well as develop and execute load and stress testing scenarios.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute performance test plans and scenarios.
• Analyze test results and provide recommendations to improve application performance.
• Identify and isolate performance bottlenecks and provide solutions.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure performance requirements are met.
• Develop and execute load and stress testing scenarios.
• Create performance testing reports and communicate results to stakeholders.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 5-8 years of experience in performance testing.
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies and best practices.
• Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, and Gatling.
• Experience with performance monitoring tools such as New Relic, AppDynamics, and Splunk.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python and Bash.
• Experience with database technologies such as SQL and NoSQL.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
