Job Description

Job Title: Senior Manager Finance Business Partner Reporting Relationship: Lead - Finance Business Partner (Linear Content)
Purpose: This role plays the responsibility of being a Finance Business Partner for the Linear Ad Revenue Business team. It supports the Lead Finance Business Partner, Linear in planning, analysis for critical business KPIS specific to Linear Ad revenue.The role ensures accuracy, timeliness, along with analytics and insights management to drive better decision support for the Function and the CFOs office. As a finance liaison to the Linear Ad Revenue business, the role requires to be partner with the business effectively and drive improvement in sales performance.
Education: CA / MBA from tier II (i.e. Not necessarily IIM ABCK but other than those)Location: Mumbai Business/Channel/Function: Finance and AccountsExperience: 8 to 10 years post qualification
Key Responsibilities:Linear Ad Revenue Forecasting, Analysis and Post evaluationPeriodic forecasting of Linear Ad revenue by channels, properties Weekly, Fortnightly, monthly.Tracking and analysis of key performance indicators and impact of each on monetisation E.g., Price, volume and mix analysis being analysis on periodic basis (vs budget/Forecast/previous month etc)Provide actionable insights to the CFO's office to help better decision support specifically.Post evaluation of shows / events / sporting events etc. from Linear Ad revenue standpoint.
Partnership for Pricing and Incentive policy structuringPeriodic tracking of pricing tables to analyse variances and find opportunities to improve sales performance.End to end ownership of Agency incentive policy (From structuring to closure) for all Linear Ad revenue aspects.Partner with Linear Ad revenue Business teams to improve sales performance through better unit economics and exploring new business opportunities.
Competition deep dive and BenchmarkingCompetition benchmarking cross similar channels on Linear Ad revenue related KPIs including GRP, AdGRP, Fill etc.Evaluate critical factors impacting us vs competition to pickup learning and insights.Use such insights to drive better decision support for future pricing and sales strategies.
Ease of Doing businessEnable the Ad Revenue team to have limited touchpoints in Finance and help improve processes while ensuring adequate controls.Enable the leadership team to drive objective decision making through automated/on the go analytics / reports / discussion points.Focus on automation of rudimentary reportage / analysis Thereby spending more time onKey Metrics:Sharpness of Analysis and ability to deliver actionable outcomesTimeliness and closure of workstreams especially from a point of driving the end goal.Ability to engage and support the CFO's office on aspects pertaining to Linear Ad Revenue.
Team Coordination & Operational LeadershipCollaborator ready to collaborate with the Sales team, Sales operations team and Finance team.Ability to anchor critical projects and discussions while ensuring timely closures of all open points.
