Job Description

Position: Sr. Manager - Business Finance

Qualification & Experience

  • CA or MBA from a reputed institute with a minimum of 7 years of work experience in equity research or Investment Banking with a focus on pharmaceuticals/healthcare sector
  • Proven Data Analytics & Presentation capabilities. Experience of creating infographics/dashboards around sector coverage/ equity research reports/modelling & valuation reports/ financial analytics
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in financial modelling, analysis, valuation etc.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Self-starter, Ability to work independently & under ambiguity, enterprising to make an impact with his/her work, excellent Stakeholder / Project Management, Attention to detail
  • Proficient with IQIVA, Factset or other similar tools and Microsoft Office tools including Power BI & Financial database

Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Finance professional to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in equity research or investment banking with a focus on the pharmaceuticals/healthcare sector. The role involves analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and providing insights to support strategic decision-making by the top management

Mandatory skill: M&A, Fund Raising from PE firms, experience of cross-border transaction

Key Result Areas would be:

  • Support preparation of analytically superior Long Range Business Plans & compelling Decks for the top management
  • Finance Lead for strategic finance data analytics peers benchmarking, Competition strategy benchmarking
  • Execute/ Project manage inorganic initiatives like M&As, Fundraising projects, Product Investment decisions, Business cases for New product development with all internal and external stakeholder
  • Support financial analysis of Business Development & Licensing Team as required
  • Ad hoc projects as required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Analytics: Analyze market trends, financial statements, & industry data to provide actionable insights. Prepare compelling presentations for the top management, including infographics. Including but not limited to Peers/Competitors Benchmarking, tracking relevant M&A deals of companies & IPs, including Multiples and Valuation
  • Fund raise: Lead and support fund raise and investor relations activities with internal and external stakeholders and also IPO readiness
  • Long Range Financial Planning: Global Consolidation, detailed analysis to bring out presentable insights, drive global streamlining of templates for efficiency / quick turnaround time, as well as scenario building & risk analysis
  • Support in inorganic initiatives: M&A activities & Fundraising Projects full cycle of deal process as per requirement. Supporting in dealing with Investment Bankers & Investor Relations
  • Drive streamlining of master data tables, to support any data analytics requirement. For eg. Product Master
  • BD&L Business Finance: Financial analysis for organic & inorganic Business Development & Licensing initiatives
  • Cross-border transactions would be involved in the due diligence, deal structuring, and review of agreement
  • Support in ad hoc projects as required
