Key Responsibilities
- Business Partnering:
- Co-own P&L with revenue and marketing teams; drive growth, profitability, and ROI through strategic financial insights.
- Revenue & Profitability Management:
- Lead discussions on pricing, discounts, and spend optimization to deliver profitability targets and efficient investment deployment.
- Cost & Efficiency Initiatives:
- Drive sustainable cost reduction, policy standardization, and process efficiency in line with industry best practices
- Planning & Forecasting:
- Lead AOP, forecasts, and scenario planning by integrating business inputs, market trends, and strategic priorities.
- Performance Tracking:
- Monitor key financial KPIs, conduct variance analysis, and identify levers for improving margins and growth.
- Leadership Reporting:
- Prepare actionable insights and dashboards for management reviews; enable data-driven decision-making.
- Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, and SCM to align business decisions with financial outcomes.
- Team Development:
- Mentor team members on analytics, business acumen, and financial decision-making; expand the business finance function's capability towards deeper P&L ownership and strategic partnering
Qualification & Experience
- Chartered Accountant / MBA (Finance) with 8-10 years experience in Business Finance / FP&A / Commercial Finance across FMCG, D2C, or Consumer Tech sectors.
- Proven expertise in P&L management, financial modeling, and performance analysis.
- Strong ability to translate insights into strategic actions and influence cross-functional decisions.
- Exposure to revenue planning, investment evaluation, and channel economics.
- Proficient in analytics, dashboards, and automation tools.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication and problem-solving orientation.
