Weld Shop & Fixture Maintenance
- Manage weld shop fixtures, hemming die maintenance, and preventive maintenance schedules.
- Oversee tools, jigs, and die designing and upkeep.
- Measures: Uptime of weld shop equipment, adherence to preventive maintenance schedule
Body Shell Dimension Integrity
- Analyze CMM/PIST CF reports to ensure dimension accuracy.
- Implement corrections in-house and coordinate with SQ and VQ Planning teams.
- Measures: Body shell dimensional compliance, reduction in NC/customer complaints
Next Customer Issue Resolution
- Resolve field issues arising from production or dimensional discrepancies.
- Implement Poka-Yoke on line side to prevent errors.
- Measures: Reduction in next customer complaints, Poka-Yoke implementation effectiveness
New Project Support
- Support new line/project launches for faster FSO delivery.
- Develop and implement PO, PP, SOPs, and quality standards for new projects.
- Measures: Timely project launch support, compliance with quality standards
Fixture Spares Management
- Maintain and manage inventory of fixture spares to ensure minimal downtime.
- Measures: Availability of spares, reduction in machine downtime
