Job Title : Senior Manager - Delivery and Logistics Operations

Role Overview
- Manage end-to-end delivery and logistics operations for Gold, Silver, Coins and Bars, ensuring secure, accurate and timely movement.
- Oversee order processing, packaging, dispatch, transportation, delivery and reconciliation.
- Manage daily operations, shipment planning, TAT, pending orders, exceptions and escalations.
- Drive secure and standardized packaging, labelling, documentation and dispatch processes for high-value products.
- Prepare and monitor daily/weekly/monthly MIS covering dispatches, deliveries, TAT, pending shipments, RTOs, exceptions, costs and vendor performance.
- Manage courier/logistics partners, SLAs, service quality, commercials, billing and reconciliation.
- Monitor high-value shipment controls, chain of custody, discrepancies, damages and security-related incidents.
- Coordinate with Sales, Warehouse, Operations, Finance, Customer Support and Technology teams for seamless execution.
- Lead and manage the delivery/logistics team, set KPIs and ensure productivity and accountability.
- Develop and improve SOPs, processes and controls to increase operational efficiency and reduce errors.
- Identify opportunities for automation in tracking, MIS, dispatch and reconciliation.
- Drive logistics cost optimization while maintaining service quality and security standards.
- Handle critical shipments, operational escalations and customer delivery issues.
- Ensure compliance with internal processes and security protocols applicable to high-value products.
Key Requirements
- 8-15 years of experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, Delivery or Distribution Operations.
- Strong experience in MIS, vendor management, packaging, dispatch and team handling.
- Experience in managing high-value, sensitive or security-controlled products will be preferred.
- Experience in Gold, Bullion, Jewellery, BFSI, E-commerce or other high-value product industries will be an advantage.
- Strong Excel/Google Sheets and reporting skills; Power BI/ERP/WMS/TMS exposure preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management and execution skills.
- High attention to detail, integrity, ownership and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
