Job Description

Application Support

Key Responsibilities & Required Skills:

  • Monitor and maintain core banking/financial applications.
  • Handle incident management, service requests, and problem resolution.
  • Ensure SLA adherence and timely communication with stakeholders.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measure

Project Handling

  • Manage IT projects related to application upgrades, migrations, and new implementations.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (business, operations, vendors).
  • Ensure projects meet regulatory compliance (RBI, Internal Audit etc. norms).
  • Track project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.

Process Improvement

  • Drive automation and efficiency in support processes.
  • Implement monitoring tools and dashboards for proactive issue detection.
  • Suggest enhancements to improve application performance and reliability.

Technical Expertise

  • Knowledge of banking applications, Lending platforms, payment gateways, CRM, ERP systems.
  • Familiarity with databases (Oracle, SQL, NoSql DB), middleware, APIs, cloud platforms.
  • Understanding of ITIL processes (incident, problem, change management).

Soft Skills

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
  • Ability to lead teams and manage vendors.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
