Role Overview
This is a high-ownership, hands-on leadership role in a startup environment. The incumbent will be responsible for end-to-end centre administration, cross-functional coordination, reporting, stakeholder communication, and executive support to the President.
The role demands a structured thinker with strong execution capability, financial and administrative acumen, and exceptional communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
1. Centre Administration & Governance
- Oversee day-to-day administrative operations of the centre.
- Ensure compliance with institutional policies and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement SOPs for administrative efficiency and process discipline.
- Coordinate infrastructure, facilities, vendor management, and procurement.
2. HR & People Operations
- Support recruitment coordination, onboarding, and documentation processes.
- Oversee employee records, attendance, payroll coordination, and policy compliance.
- Facilitate performance review cycles and HR reporting.
- Act as a key liaison between employees and leadership.
3. Finance & Budget Oversight
- Assist in budget planning, tracking, and variance analysis.
- Coordinate with finance teams for invoicing, payments, expense management, and reconciliations.
- Prepare financial summaries and management reports for review.
4. MIS & Reporting
- Design and manage MIS dashboards covering:
- Admissions and enrolments
- Revenue tracking
- Expense monitoring
- Operational metrics
- Prepare periodic reports for leadership and board-level presentations.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and timely reporting.
5. Executive Support to the President
- Assist the President in strategic initiatives and special projects.
- Prepare briefing notes, presentations, and analytical summaries.
- Track action points and follow-ups across departments.
- Provide structured coordination support for high-impact initiatives.
6. Stakeholder Communication
- Serve as a central coordination point for internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage formal communication with academic partners, industry collaborators, vendors, and regulatory bodies.
- Draft professional correspondence, reports, and institutional documentation.
7. Brand & Institutional Development
- Support brand-building initiatives and institutional positioning efforts.
- Coordinate events, industry engagements, and external outreach activities.
- Ensure consistent institutional messaging across communications.
Candidate Profile
Experience:
- 812 years of experience in administration, operations, or centre management roles.
- Prior experience in education, edtech, fintech ecosystem organisations, or startup environments preferred.
- Experience managing multi-functional responsibilities (HR, finance coordination, reporting, operations).
