Senior Manager Accounts and Finance (Inventory, MIS E-com Reconciliation & Business Accounting)

Role Objective

Provide financial leadership across inventory management, marketplace operations, ERP processes, cost control, and business performance, while ensuring strong financial controls and supporting profitable growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Control & Process Governance Lead overall financial control framework across the organisation.

2. Inventory Governance & Control

• Own end-to-end inventory control across warehouses, marketplace fulfilment centres, and retail locations.
• Ensure accurate SKU-level inventory tracking and valuation in ERP.
• Monitor inventory ageing, slow-moving stock, and dead inventory.
• Lead periodic physical stock audits and reconciliation with system records.
• Drive improvements in inventory turnover and stock planning discipline.

3. Receivables and Payables:

• Creditor management
• Debtor management
• Audit control and ensure smooth transaction with government agencies.
• Cashflow management

4 Marketplace & Inventory Reconciliation

• Lead reconciliation of marketplace transactions and settlements.
• Track and reconcile orders, settlements, commissions, fulfilment fees, return, refunds, and penalties.
• Reconcile marketplace order data with ERP sales and inventory movement.
• Monitor inventory held at marketplace fulfilment centres and ensure alignment with company records.
• Identify and resolve settlement discrepancies and revenue leakages.

5 Drive Cost Control, Budget Management and P&L

• Identify areas of to reduce cost without affecting business.
• Budget V/S actual reporting
• Gross Margin control
• Monthly P&L and MIS

Preferred Experience & Qualifications

In-depth direct working experience with E-com platforms

CA inter / B.Com / MBA Finance or equivalent qualification
