Role and responsibilities:
- Quarterly review of financial statements, preparation of RERA compliance and closure of all other compliance issues. Should drive the audit process and ensure the timely completion.
- Cross-functional coordination and liaison between functions, external and internal auditors, NBFC and compliance teams, and any other parties for ensuring the smooth functioning of the accounts, finance and taxation department.
- Candidate shall be the second in command to the Head of Department and shall perform all duties as required accordingly
Qualifications:
- Chartered Accountant with 5-7 years of post-qualification experience with should majorly be in the real estate sector.
- Strong cross-functional understanding of business, including full proficiency in finer aspects of taxation, accounting as per applicable IND AS and operations.
- Candidate should be hands-on in data mining and understand systems and processing in spreadsheets.
- Demonstrated expertise in real estate business practices such as RERA, Revenue accounting and budgeting.
