Areas Of Responsibility

• Responsible for supporting Global procurement for API for Therapy category - ARV, Anti-cancer, Anti Inflammatory and Anti-Allergy , Skin related for all market like regulated, EM and Domestic market.
• Alternate vendor development of API s for regulated market and EM market
• Approx spend value as per Budget is Rs. 300 crores
• Providing support in Annual strategy, plans development and target setting for saving in the department
• Create PO, contracts review pending PR in SAP, doing auction in system, review pending deliveries of API in time to plant.
• Provide inputs in MIS and budgeting activities for Data management and analysis
• Rate negotiation with vendors and preparation of QCF for PO
• Run Auction to achieve maximum savings.
• Co-ordination with all internal stakeholders like, QA, QC, ADD, RA, FRD MSTG, finance etc and external stake holders - vendors to resolve queries as early as possible, also support of all regulatory quires and documentation required for US/EU/Canada, EM and ROW market
• Support Strategic procurement decision by preparing strategic procurement form.
• Also support to Sun s overseas plants like South Africa, Nigeria
• Purchase of ARVs for south Africa plant

Educational Qualification

• B. Pharm / MBA

Experience

• 5-10 years

Skill (Functional Behavioral):

• API procurement and knowledge of ARV Therapy.
• Subject knowledge of API is non-negotiable
• Negotiation skills for API, Buying, Material Procurement
• SAP knowledge
• API procurement for formulation industry. PO generation.
• Experience in food industry would be an added advantage
