This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team where your expertise will directly support our brokers byanalysing financial data, preparing and lodging loan applications and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Role Description

- Assist in preparing, reviewing, and organising documents such as mortgage application forms, contracts, and supporting materials.

- Analyse and process financial documents, including tax documents and financial statements, to support accurate record-keeping and ensure regulatory compliance.

- Serve as a liaison between the mortgage brokerage team and clients by scheduling meetings, follow-up calls, and appointments.

- Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries via email or phone.

- Update and maintain databases and CRM systems with current client and transaction information.

- Monitor the progress of mortgage applications and flag any issues or delays to the appropriate team member.

- Undertake additional tasks or projects as assigned by the team to support overall business operations.

Qualifications

- A bachelor's degree

- Minimum 2+ years of work experience as a Loan Processor or similar role in theAustralianmortgage sector(applications that don't meet this criteria will not be considered)

- Proven ability to interpret financial statements and assess self-employed borrower scenarios

- Proficient with credit and mortgage assessment tools/software

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail

- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with confidence in presenting to stakeholders

- Self-motivated with the initiative to work independently and make informed recommendations
