Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Senior LiDAR Executive role located in Noida. The Senior LiDAR Executive will be responsible for overseeing and managing LiDAR data collection operations, processing 3D models and point clouds, analyzing LiDAR datasets, ensuring accuracy in the processed outputs, and improving data interpretation methodologies. The role also involves collaborating with clients and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions to meet client-specific requirements.

Experience Range

Minimum 24 years of professional experience in LiDAR data processing and analysis, preferably in environmental, infrastructure, or disaster management projects.

Educational Qualification-

Master's degree in Geoinformatics, Remote Sensing, Geography, Civil Engineering, or a related geospatial field. Strong knowledge in Disaster management / Forestry / Water Resource / Urban Planning / Geology/Railway/ Roads.

Understanding of environmental planning and sustainable land development principles.

Key Responsibilities-

Handle complete LiDAR data workflow including raw data handling, preprocessing, classification, and final product generation.

Perform LiDAR pre-processing tasks such as trajectory processing, boresight calibration, strip adjustment, and noise removal.

Carry out post-processing including point cloud classification (ground, vegetation, buildings, water), DEM/DTM/DSM generation, and contour extraction.

Generate derived products such as canopy height models (CHM), slope, aspect, watershed boundaries, and flood/landslide/forestry modeling inputs.

Support environmental planning through forest structure analysis, biomass estimation inputs, and landform mapping.

Assist team by providing high-resolution terrain models for simulation modelling, landslide susceptibility, and erosion assessment.

Skills preferred

Understanding of environmental planning and sustainable land development principles.

Knowledge of terrain analysis for watershed management and land capability assessment.

Awareness of government geospatial data standards and project documentation practices.

Proficiency in major LiDAR processing software such as LA Stools, Terrasolid, Global Mapper LiDAR Module, ArcGIS Pro (3D Analyst), or similar platforms.
