Role Description The Senior Legal Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai, responsible for overseeing and managing a broad range of legal matters for CEVA Logistics in India. This role involves drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts, service agreements, and other legal documents to support business operations and mitigate risk. The Senior Legal Manager provides legal consulting to internal stakeholders, advises on legal compliance and regulatory requirements, and ensures alignment with corporate policies and local laws. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing legal affairs related to disputes and litigation, coordinating with external counsel, and supporting cross-functional teams on contractual and regulatory issues. The role also includes developing and updating legal frameworks, conducting trainings on legal and compliance topics, and contributing to strategic decision-making with clear, practical legal guidance.

Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Law with experience interpreting and applying relevant statutes, regulations, and case law in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in Legal Document Preparation, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, agreements, and policy documents.
- Experience in Legal Consulting, providing pragmatic, business-oriented legal advice to senior leadership and operational teams.
- Demonstrated expertise in Legal Compliance, including regulatory adherence, risk management, and implementation of compliance processes.
- Proven ability to manage broad Legal Affairs, such as disputes, litigation coordination, and engagement with external counsel and authorities.
- Bachelor's degree in Law (LL.B) from a recognized institution; LL.M or additional legal certifications are an advantage.
- 5–8+ years of post-qualification experience in corporate legal roles, preferably in logistics, supply chain, transportation, or related industries.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to present complex legal concepts clearly to non-legal stakeholders.
- High level of integrity, sound judgment, and ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of relevant local languages and familiarity with Indian corporate and commercial law frameworks are
