Job Description

Designation: Senior Manager - Legal

Job Responsibilities

Legal Drafting& Vetting of Real EstateAgreements:

  • Ensure the accurate and timely drafting, vetting, and standardization of all legal documents, including but not limitedto Commercial Leave & LicenseAgreements, Lease Deeds,Operating Agreements, Fit-Out Agreements, and Common Area Maintenance Agreements.
  • Achieve 100% compliance with the agreedturnaround time (TAT) for documentreview and amendments.

Land and Property Due Diligence:

  • Conduct thorough legal due diligence on all prospective lease arrangements, including title investigations, Occupancy Certificate (OC)/Completion Certificate (CC) validation, Fire NOCs, and checks against local legislation.
  • Ensure that 100% of property deals are compliantwith legal and commercial aspectsbefore finalization.

Compliance & Advisory:

  • Ensure 100% adherence to company policiesand regulatory compliance across all operations.
  • Provide accurate and well-researched legal opinions on critical issues within agreedtimelines.

Contract Review &TAT Compliance:

  • Review all contracts relatedto Customers, Alliances, Marketing, Design & Build Agreements, and Procurement Agreements within the agreed turnaround time.
  • Achieve zero backlog in contract review processes.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Successfully liaise with legal consultants, landlords, and internal stakeholders to ensure the smooth and timely finalization of agreements.
  • Resolve 95% of contract-related bottlenecks without escalation.

Documentation & Record Maintenance:

  • Maintain 100% documentation accuracyfor all legal agreements, ensuringthat all recordsare up to date and comply with internal checklists.
  • Implement periodicaudits to ensuredocumentation integrity and compliance.

Continuous Process Improvement:

  • Identify and implement processimprovements for legaldrafting, vetting, and contract management to enhance efficiency by at least 10% annually.

Skills &Qualifications:

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • 5+ years of experience in drafting and vetting contracts, settlement deeds, notices,NDAs,

vendor agreements, etc.

  • High standards of accuracyand attention to detail.
  • Highly organized, punctual, and capable of managing multipletasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and writtencommunication skills, with the abilityto articulate complexlegal concepts clearly.
